Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the Afflo mobile application (“App”) operated by Afflo (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By downloading, installing, or using Afflo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Service Description

Afflo is a mobile application that provides daily affirmations across multiple categories and languages to support your personal wellbeing and positive mindset. The App offers:

  • 140+ handcrafted affirmations
  • 7 categories: Confidence, Gratitude, Growth, Self-Love, Success, Health, and Relationships
  • 7 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian
  • Text-to-speech functionality
  • Daily reminder notifications
  • Favorite affirmations collection
  • Home screen widget

2. Free and Subscription Services

a) Free Tier: Afflo provides free access to 3 categories (Confidence, Gratitude, Growth) and approximately 60 affirmations. All core features (reminders, favorites, text-to-speech, widget) are available in the free tier.

b) Afflo PRO: A premium subscription that unlocks all 7 categories and 140+ affirmations. Afflo PRO is available as:

  • Monthly subscription: $0.99 USD per month
  • Yearly subscription: $9.99 USD per year (includes a 7-day free trial)

c) Prices may vary by region and are determined by Apple's App Store and Google Play Store pricing tiers.

3. Subscription Terms

a) Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.

b) Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

c) Free Trial: The 7-day free trial for the yearly plan is available to new subscribers only. If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged for the first billing period.

d) Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Afflo PRO → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Afflo PRO → Cancel

e) Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App's content without permission
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Use automated means to access or scrape the App's content

5. Intellectual Property

All content in Afflo, including but not limited to affirmation text, design elements, animations, graphics, and the energy sphere visual, is the intellectual property of Afflo and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content.

6. Disclaimer — Not Medical Advice

Afflo is a wellness and personal development tool. The affirmations provided are intended for motivational and inspirational purposes only. Afflo is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • We do not claim that affirmations can cure, treat, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.
  • If you are experiencing mental health issues, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
  • Use of the App is at your own discretion and risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

a) Afflo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

b) We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

c) In no event shall Afflo be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

d) Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for Afflo PRO in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Afflo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
